Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District offers fundraising sales to provide the resources necessary to continue its programming to promote conservation and the wise use of our natural resources.

NEW ITEMS!  Limited supply of Rain Barrels are left and being offered with $5 off  the $90 charge in the Sale.  Contact Jane or Michele if interested at 743-5789 ext 101 or email jane.heikkinen@me.nacdnet.net.

This year Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District is offered compost bins and rain barrels.  The compost bins provide a means of reducing the waste that must be hauled off and can be used to add to the soil quality in your vegetable and flower gardens.  The rain barrel collects and stores water runoff from your roof to use for your gardens and flowering shrubs. Statistics show that with outdoor water usage during summer months, the quantity used increases between 40 and 50%. This can cause a great increase in the cost for water usage.  Click on the following link to learn more about these products.
